Stark Naked Vineyards began as a dream based on a passion.
The owner and winemaker, Ron Stark, began his journey with a love of wine and a desire to better understand not only the wine tasting/drinking experience but how great wines were made.
The journey began simply enough with wine tasting classes with a Master Sommelier which in time led to Mr Stark planting his own small vineyard at his home. Living in the Cucamonga Valley (California’s first viticultural designation) he planted a Zinfandel vines, a varietal known to grow well in this region.
From there it grew. Mr. Stark eventually built a wine making studio in the Cucamonga Valley and set off to making both grape and a variety of his very popular and fun “fruit” wines.
Today, Mr. Stark manages and maintains several large home vineyards along with his own and gives his customers the choice of making wine from their grapes or in cases of smaller quantities contributing to his winemaking co-op.
For anyone that has ever dreamed of having their own Vineyard and their own wine produced from it now is the time. This is Mr. Stark’s current passion, introducing wine lovers to the joy and love of this romantic endeavor!
